Katherine Heigl's New Movie Postponed Again

Katherine Heigl's new movie has been postponed again.

One for the Money, a comedy thriller, has been pulled from studio Lionsgate’s slate to an undetermined date this year, according to Entertainment Weekly magazine.

The film based on the popular Janet Evanovich novels about bail bondswoman Stephanie Plum had been moved from July 8 to June 3 earlier this month to keep it out of the way of Sony Pictures’ The Zookeeper and Warner Bros.’ Horrible Bosses.

The June date, however, placed the film against X-Men: First Class.

A Lionsgate rep said, We just want to find the right home for the film, and that date didn’t feel like it.

Heigl, who adopted daughter Naleigh back in 2009, recently revealed she wants to have a biological baby, too.

We still talk about having biological children as well, she said last year,



She says, I’m not ruling anything out. But adoption has been a part of my life and a part of my family, so it was how I wanted to start.

Josh is a great dad. I didn’t expect it. He’s such a guy.

Katherine Heigl To Star In 'New Year's Eve'

Katherine Heigl will now replace Halle Berry in the upcoming Warner Bros. ensemble production 'New Year's Eve'.

A thematic followup to Valentine's day, the movie will be set in New York and follows intertwining stories of characters trying to navigate their way through romance on 'New Year's Eve'.

Katherine's role will be that of a caterer who winds up forced to work on December 31st, serving a party attended by a former boyfriend, now a famous rock musician to be played by Jon Bon Jovi.

The enormous cast also includes Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron, Sienna Miller, Seth Meyes and Til Schweiger.

Katherine Heigl, 31, is trying to quit her smoking habit the hi-tech way. Now she's smoking electronic ciggies. Heigl showed former addicted smoker David Letterman how she smokes her electronic cigarette and he got just a little too into the whole concept. Before e-cigarettes, Heigl futilely tried just about every other remedy on the market, she told the late-night comic: the patch, chewing nicotine, even the prescription medication Chantex. Only the "smoke stick" seems to work for her, she said.
