Susan Boyle Celebrates Her 50th Birthday Today

Singer Susan Boyle is celebrating a milestone birthday, she turns 50 today, April 1.

The Scottish singer Susan, who shot to fame as a contestant on the UK TV show Britain’s Got Talent, will celebrate her big day with a party for close family and friends near her home.

Susan said, I’m looking forward to turning 50, there’s not much I can do about it but I’m happy to be reaching this birthday.

I guess I’m living proof that none of us know what’s around the corner and while I may have started a little late I really hope I can be around for a wee while longer!

I’ve had some wonderful moments throughout my life especially over the past two years and I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and encouragement, I wouldn’t be here without it and I appreciate it every single day.

Susan Boyle, who’s believed to have earned around $8m from her debut album, recently insisted she’s careful with her money.




She said, I’ve only just learned how to go in a taxi, I don’t flash the cash.

I’m always careful with money. I’m not saying I’m mean, but I’m always careful.

Susan Boyle Sings for the Pope

Susan Boyle, 49, got her wish to sing for the Pope when she helped mark the end of his open air mass in Scotland on Thursday. The committed Catholic's rendition of the hymn, Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, was heard across the a park in Glasgow as Pope Benedict XVI was saying his farewells to church leaders following mass. Around 65,000 people had attended the ceremony in Bellahouston Park where, about three hours earlier, she was met with waving white and pale yellow Papal flags and enthusiastic applause as she helped herald his visit.Source URL: https://kmhighlights.blogspot.com/search/label/Susan%20Boyle
