The 30 Rock star Tina Fey might be best known for her dead-on impression of Sarah Palin on 'Saturday Night Live' a spoof that, much to the irritation of the GOP, came to define John McCain's running mate during the 2008 campaign.

In Tina Fey's new memoir, 'Bossypants', Fey defends her impersonation of Sarah Palin against critics who say she unfairly exploited the former Alaska governor to boost ratings for her TV show, '30 Rock'.

Sarah Palin has accused Michelle Obama of stealing her teenage daughter!

The Alaskan politician is apparently furious that the First Lady asked Bristol, 20, to join her new public service council, the details of which have not been disclosed.

According to American tabloid the National Enquirer:

Michelle Obama stole my daughter! That was Sarah Palin's bitter complaint after her daughter Bristol agreed to work with Sarah’s sworn enemy, the First Lady.

Michelle Obama, 47, has signed up teen anti-pregnancy advocate Bristol Palin to join her new public service council, the details of which have not been disclosed.

The partnership is shocking, considering Sarah, 47, has repeatedly blasted Michelle.

On her Twitter page, Bristol, 20, admitted her mother’s disapproval of her decision to link up with Michelle, saying: “I’ll actually be in DC this week. First Lady has invited me to be part of council she’s creating.

Mom Not happy, oh well.

Sarah recently fired back after getting heat from animal rights activists after shooting a caribou on Sarah Palin’s Alaska.

Palin said, We eat, therefore we hunt, and I am thankful that I get to feed my kids organic food.

If they don’t wear leather shoes and a belt and drive a car with leather seats and they eat no meat, then they have somethin’ to say. And I can listen to them when they say, ‘How dare you kill an animal to feed a family?’ because they don’t participate in that. And at least they’re sincere about it.

I'm reading the best book right now - Dean Karnazes's book about being an ultra-marathoner. I read a lot of C.S. Lewis when I want some divine inspiration.I read Newsmax and The Wall Street Journal. I read all of our local papers of course in Alaska because that's where my heart is, Palin said.

Palin has said that she was offended by Couric's question and is still irked by the media's portrayal of her.

Because of that one episode, that one episode, that would turn an issue into what it has become over the last two years. I think that's ridiculous, Palin told Walters. That's one of those things, where that issue, that I don't read, or that I'm not informed, it's one of those questions where I like to turn that around and ask the reporters, 'Why would it be that there is that perception that I don't read?

That's something that's been pretty much ginned up by the press, Palin said.

Tina Fey, Sarah Palin, Harry Potter, Patriots And Steelers - Sunday TV

It's Tina Fey versus Sarah Palin tonight on the tube. It's almost the non-football equivalent of the Patriots versus the Steelers. Or the Muggle equivalent of Harry Potter and Voldemort. Maybe not that last one. Here's what's on tonight.

The big premiere that everyone (in the news echo chamber) will be talking about is Sarah Palin's Alaska on TLC. Now you can see the former VP candidate/former governor in her natural habitat. The show starts at 9pm.

On PBS you can watch Tina Fey: The Mark Twain Prize, also at 9pm. Fey is the 13th recipient of the award for her contributions to American humor. She will also be the youngest person to earn the honor.

Tonight's big football game features the New England Patriots challenging the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams are 6-2 and combined they have won five of the last nine Super Bowl games. Will this be bigger than Manning Bowl II in the ratings? Kick-off is shortly after 8:15pm on NBC.

Finally, ABC Family continues its countdown to Harry Potter Friday with a primetime airing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The magic begins at 8pm.

Sarah Palin's Alaska TV Series Or Campaign Ad !

Sarah Palin's latest endeavor is less John and Sarah, and more “Jon and Kate.” The former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate is following in the footsteps of the Kardashians, and her oldest daughter, Bristol, who this season appears on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Proving once again she's a maverick, Palin is turning a new leaf – starring in her own eight-part series, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, which premieres Sunday on TLC.

"I think that she believes that as long as her fame is increasing, that can be translated and poured into a political campaign,” said Stephen Mansfield, author of "The Faith and Values of Sarah Palin." He thinks the show is inconsistent with the image Palin wants to project.

“I think that it's actually going to give her more to overcome than it is going to help her,” he said. “Of what I've seen of the show, she's not looking very presidential. She's running around in shorts, she's chopping up fish."

"I'd rather being doing this than in some dumpy old political office," Palin says in a promotional clip.

“She's gone in a different direction than I had expected,” Mansfield told ABC News, “and I'm not sure it's going to work for her."
