Wyclef Jean, 41, was shot in the hand after 11 p.m. in Delmas, Haiti on Saturday. "I have confirmed from Wyclef that he was immediately taken to the hospital, treated for a minor graze to his hand and released," his spokesperson tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "He is fine." The shooting comes on the eve of the presidential elections in his native country; Jean is supporting fellow musician Michel Martelly. "Wyclef's commitment to his native country and to his people is unparalleled," his rep adds.
