Neve Campbell, the Canadian actress and star of the 'Scream' horror movies, insists she is doing great, following news that she has filed for divorce from husband John Light.
It was revealed earlier this week that Campbell had filed divorce documents in Los Angeles some five months ago, citing 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split. The couple first met on the set of independent movie 'Investigating Sex' back in 2005, and married in Malibu, California, two years later. Light is a respected British theatre actor and has starred in award winning adaptations of Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' and Julius Caesar'. He and Campbell have lived in Islington north London since they were married in 2007. Despite a source close to the couple describing the divorce as "very amicable", Campbell has requested that a judge block spousal support to her husband.
Speaking about the split, Campbell said, I'm always doing great.spending time with my family and friends, I'm really looking forward to that this year. The divorce will be the actresses' second, after she split from actor Jeff Colt in 1998 and 3 years of marriage.
