Jennifer Jason Leigh has filed for divorce from director Noah Baumbach after five years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple's only child, Rohmer, was born just seven months ago.
Leigh, 48, has starred in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," "Single White Female," and "Dorothy Parker and the Vicious Circle." She filed for divorce from Baumbach on Nov. 15 in Los Angeles Superior Court, People.com reported.
The pair met while Leigh was starring in the show "Proof" on Broadway and married in 2005.
They recently co-wrote the 2010 film "Greenberg" starring Ben Stiller.
Leigh plans to seek spousal support and primary custody of their son, People.com reports.
